Last year, Due to the local COVID-19 situation, the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am was played without the traditional multi-day pro-am format. The competition field included 156 players and began from 8-14 February 2021. It took place on only two courses, Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course. This competition is scheduled to play on three courses in 2024. The 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf event will take place from 1-4 February 2024 with audiences. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2021. It was previously announced that the tournament would take place without the presence of spectators. With the support of AT&T, this 2nd longest-running event will continue to increase charitable donations in the region. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am has raised more than $176 million for charities in Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz Counties since 1947.

In this tournament, the Ryder Cup teammates Daniel Berger, Patrick Cantlay, and Jordan Spieth made headlines in the professional world by defending their AT&T title a year ago. Cantlay and Spieth were tied for third behind Berger, who eagled the 72nd hole on Sunday to highlight his win. Other top performers include Kevin Kisner, Justin Rose, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Maverick McNealy.

In the past five months, PGA TOUR has successfully organized Pro-Ams on Wednesdays, which is an essential part of the tournament week. For amateurs, the number is limited, and professional tests are conducted according to a comprehensive health and safety plan (including COVID-19 testing).
