The U.S. Senior Open launched 43 years ago in 1980, and it is one of the five major championships in senior golf. It is managed by the USGA (United States Golf Association), and it's co-sanctioned by both the PGA Tour Champions and the European Senior Tour. The 2025 U.S. Senior Open Championship will take place from 26-29 June 2025 at Broadmoor Golf Club.

The Omaha Country Club will be the seventh place to host the championship two times, the first being in 2013 when Kenny Perry won his first US Senior Open.
