The European Tour men’s golf event Omega European Masters will start from September 5-8, 2024. It became the first European competition in 2009, jointly organized by the Asian Tour.

In 1923, the event was established as the Swiss Open, in 1983 prefixed with the European Masters, and then canceled the Swiss Open title in 1992. In the 1971 event, Baldovino Dassu became the first player to score 60 on 18 holes on the European Tour. Since 1939, this event has been held at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club at Crans-Montana, Valais, and is currently held in early September each year.
