The PGA Tour Champions Tour event at Sanford International will start from 13-15 September 2024 at the Minnehaha Country Club. The first edition was held in 2018, and the winner was Steve Stricker.

Since its inception, the PGA Tour Champions event is one of the premier sporting events in South Dakota seen as on the way to Sioux Falls after the host facility, Minnehaha Country Club, disapproved an application for an extension original five-year contract beyond 2023. However, a two-year extension was announced on Wednesday, and Minnehaha will continue to host the event until 2024.
