2022 Korn Ferry Tour Fixture

 

2022 Korn Ferry Tour schedule has been announced by the PGA Tour, which includes 26 events across four countries and 18 different states. The season concludes with the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance in September.

PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan said, as per our mission, the Korn Ferry Tour will recognize, develop and prepare the next stars in golf from day one to take part in the PGA TOUR. The instant success we have seen from the likes of Sungjae Im and Scottie Scheffler, and now Will Zalatoris, the final three PGA TOUR Rookies of the Year winners, is an indication of the quality and talent on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Several international tournaments will be back on the Korn Ferry Tour schedule in 2022, which canceled due to the pandemic in 2021. The Korn Ferry Tour 2022 season will start with the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay from 16-19 January and the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club from 23-26 January 2022. The Panama Championship will commence from 3-6 February, and the Country Club de Bogota Championship will begin from 10-13 February.

The Lake Charles Championships start its debut in 2022, slated for March 24-27, postponed in 2020 due to an epidemic and the impact of Hurricanes Laura and Delta along the Louisiana coast in 2021.

"After dramatically wrapping up a fantastic Korn Ferry Tour’s season recently, we're talking about the future of 2022, including a significant addition to in wallets, the return of four international events and the first exciting game," the Lake Charles Championship Korn Ferry Tour Chairman Alex Baldwin Said. "The Korn Ferry Tour is experiencing exceptional development and fan engagement and this adds momentum as our athletes pursue their dreams for the 2022 PGA Tour."

The Korn Ferry Tour’s prize money will go up in the 2022 season as the regular season events rise to minimum prize money of $ 750,000.The Tour’s regular-season finale event Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Aetna prize money will increase to $ 850,000. The prize money for all regular-season events will reach at least 1 million U.S dollars in 2023, while the Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Aetna will rise to 1.25 million U.S. dollars.  All three events of the Korn Ferry International Tour finals at the end of the season will increase to 1.5 million U.S. dollars.
