2023 Mexico Open at Vidanta Live Online

The tournament host Grupo Salinas and PGA Tour declared that the 2023 Mexico Open will take place at Vidanta Vallarta in Vallarta, México, from 27th April to 30 April 2023. It was listed previously as the Mexico Championship on the 2021-2022 PGA Tour schedules.

Dating back to 1944 and considered the Mexican national championship, the Mexican Open will be the first official FedExCup event on the PGA Tour program, offering the winner 500 FedExCup points and $7.3 million in prize money.

The tournament field consists of 132 players, 12 sponsor exemptions, and at least four players from Latin America. Since 2017, Grupo Salinas has partnered with the PGA Tour to host a tour in Mexico - the WGC - Mexico Championship - aimed at inspiring and promoting the sport in the country, especially among young people.
