The Taiwan Glass Taifong Open is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in its history this year when it makes its Asian Tour debut.

Since 2014, the competition has been the most important event on the Asian Development Circuit (ADT), and this season the prize money for the tournament will increase to US$400,000. This is the way to promote their main circuit.

It will be the 22nd and penultimate event of the season, taking place from November 30 to December 3, 2023, at Taifong Golf Club in Chang Hwa County, central Chinese Taipei.

With the addition of the Taiwan Glass Taifong Open, the Asia Tour will visit Chinese Taipei three times this year.

After being removed from the schedule for three years because of the global epidemic, the competition was the final event of the ADT season when it was reinstated last year.

The tournament was won in 2014 and 2018 by Chan, a local celebrity and five-time Asian Tour champion. Other previous winners include American Johannes Veerman (2016), Thai Donlaphatchai Niyomchon (2019), American Pannakorn Uthaipas (2017), and American Rattanon Wannasrichan (2015).
