From 22 to 25 May 2025
The Asian Tour 2025, the Kolon Korea Open, will happen at scenic La Vie Est Belle (Dunes Course) in Chuncheon, South Korea, from May 22-25, 2025. Marking its 67th edition, this prestigious event remains a cornerstone on the Asian Tour schedule, attracting top golf talent from across the region.
The Kolon Korea Open is South Korea’s premier professional golf event, first played in 1958. In 1970 it joined the Asia Golf Circuit and remained there until 1981. After a brief pause in 1982, when the Maekyung Open took over its slot, the Korea Open made a quick return and has been going strong ever since.
The tournament was a regular feature on the Asian Tour from 1998 to 2008, except in 2005. Later, from 2009 to 2017, it shifted to the OneAsia Tour. In 2018, it returned to the Asian Tour, where it still holds a significant position. The 2019 event's total purse was 1.2 billion KRW, and the winner took home 300 million KRW. In 2003, the event was played at the picturesque Woo Jeong Hills Country Club, but in 2025 it will be played at La Vie Est Belle.
Boasting a deep history, global fame, and high-level competition, the Kolon Korea Open keeps on boosting South Korea's reputation in the worldwide golf scene.
