The Charles Schwab Cup Championship 2022 is the world-leading men’s professional golf event in which over 50 aged players participated. It is the last tournament of the Champions Tour season 2022. Every year it played in late October or beginning of the November, it is equivalent to the PGA Tour’s Tour Championship, previously called as the Senior Tour Championship. The field of this tournament is short and no halfway cut like the Tour Championship.

The top 30 champions made up the field during 2015. A total of 36 players have participated in the competition since 2016, it is the last stage of the three championship playoffs, similar to the regular PGA Tour used for its FedEx Cup.

During 2015, the event consists of one another feature that makes it unique among PGA Tour Champions, this is the only competition outside of the 5 Grand Slam tournaments on the tour which play for four rounds. It was played three rounds in 2016 and 2017. Later on, in 2018 it played for four rounds. Since 2013 the prize money of this tournament is $2,500,000 and the winner gets $2,500,000.
