The 2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans is a premier golf event, it will take place at the TPC Louisiana in Avondale from 25-28 April 2024. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, 2020 Zurich was canceled. The Zurich Classic has a long history, which can be traced back to 1938. Past champions include Byron Nelson, Jack Nicklaus, Billy Casper, Davis Love III, David Toms, Vijay Singh, and other golf superstars.

Since 2005, TPC Louisiana has hosted the Zurich Classic. In 2006, TPC Louisiana missed the opportunity to host the event after Hurricane Katrina. That year,  several PGA Tour golfers generously donated their income to the Hurricane Katrina relief work in Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina, the Zurich Classic was the first televised sporting event in the Louisiana area.
