SDC Championship 2023 was suspended on Friday

 

The SDC Championship 2023 was suspended on Friday due to severe winds, and Julien Brun had taken the lead at 8 under par.

The Frenchman shot a 5-under 67 on the St. Francis Links course, but most of the afternoon's play was lost because of the windy weather on the south coast of South Africa, which is known for being very windy.

Jens Dantorp, Albert Venter, and Matthew Baldwin, who all started early and were able to finish their second rounds, were one shot behind Brun.

David Ravetto and Kristian Krogh Johannessen were tied for the lead overnight with a score of 5 under. However, they had not yet finished their second rounds, which they will have to do early on Saturday.
