Background

Since its inception in 2013, the Turkish Airlines Open has been a significant part of the European Tour. Initially hosted at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal, the event moved to the Regnum Carya Golf Club from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, it reverted to the Montgomerie Maxx Royal before taking a break. Now, the event is poised to rejoin the DP World Tour schedule in 2025.
