On Monday, the Country Club de Bogota Championship declared a new joint venture with innovative mobility and multicultural company Astara as the title sponsor for the 2024 event. The Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard will take place at the Bogota Country Club from 08-11 February 2024.  The 2024 Astara Golf Championship is a 72-hole tournament with 156 players from all over the world.   Astala Golf Championship first played in 2010, has become a favorite among players on the Korn Ferry Tour, with some notable winners over the years, including PGA Tour rookie Mito Pereira (2020), Bogota native Sebastian Muñoz (2016), and 2021 Tour Championship and FedEx Cup winner Patrick Cantlay (2013). Pereira won by two strokes in the final tournament of 2020, shooting 20 under, which will eventually lead to his automatic promotion from the Korn Ferry Tour to three victories on the PGA Tour in 2021.

The Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard will be the 4th event on the Korn Ferry Tour 2024 Schedule. The Korn Ferry Tour regular season 2024 will finish with the Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Aetna, awarding 25 PGA Tour cards based on the point’s standings. The extra 25 PGA Tour cards will be honored at the end of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals 2024.
